2. Overview

This website is deliberately built to collect as little data as possible. We use no analytics or marketing cookies, no tracking, no social media plugins and no embedded third-party content such as maps or videos. Fonts and images are loaded exclusively from our own server.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on a server of IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, located in a data centre in Germany. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and reliable operation). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

4. Server log files and web statistics

Each time the website is accessed, the server automatically stores the IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, the amount of data transferred, the HTTP status code, the referring page and browser and operating system. We need this data to deliver the website, analyse errors and detect attacks. The server software also produces aggregated access statistics from these logs, without cookies or profiling. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted automatically after 7 days unless they are needed longer to investigate a specific security incident.

5. Security

Connections to this website are encrypted via SSL/TLS. Security software on the server automatically analyses requests and temporarily blocks IP addresses from which attacks originate. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Cookies

No cookies are set when you visit this website. Only for people who log in to maintain the content does the content management system set technically necessary cookies to keep the login active (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

7. Content from our partner

On the home page we show previews of current articles by our partner Ambassadors on Tour (icjambassador.com). Titles and images are retrieved by our server and delivered from here, so simply visiting our website does not connect you to icjambassador.com. Only when you click one of these links do you leave our website; the operator of icjambassador.com is then responsible and its privacy policy applies.

8. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message to deal with your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or its preparation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our mailbox is provided by Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland) under a data processing agreement. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; Microsoft Corporation is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), and the EU standard contractual clauses also apply. We delete your message once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. up to 10 years under commercial or tax law).

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

An email to ec@exclusivecreation.de is sufficient for all requests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR); the authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

10. Further information

You are not obliged to provide personal data; without the technically necessary connection data, however, the website cannot be displayed. No automated decision-making including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR) takes place. We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes.
